Looking forward to sharing Jenna’s story at this event in Omaha on April 15. The event is designed “to honor the lives of donors and celebrate the lives of the transplant recipients.” I will have a table and will have a good stack of Heart Felt copies to sell and sign, with proceeds going to Donate Life. For more information, visit their website. Thank you.
Book conversation set for April 11 at Indigo Bridge
The folks at Indigo Bridge Books in Lincoln have been great supporters of Jenna’s story, and I will be there talking about Heart Felt from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, as part of National Donate Life Month.
Indigo Bridge is in The Creamery Building, and Ivanna Cone is right across the hall. So if you don’t want to come to hear me, at least come for some ice cream.
Second edition of Heart Felt now available
The second edition of Heart Felt is now available here. This includes corrections and a few updates but no major changes to the original version. More than 200 copies have been sold, and as a result, over $500 has been given to Donate Life organizations so far. Can’t thank everyone enough for the support and the interest in Jenna’s story. Again, if you have any questions about the book, please don’t hesitate to send me a note at johnmabry47@gmail.com. Thank you.
Book reviews
Appreciate the kind words on Heart Felt from Ken Hambleton and Cindy Lange-Kubick. Also, thanks to Dale Johnson for having me on KFOR’s Lincoln Live to talk about the book.
